How to choose decorative panels?
1. Check the appearance:
The surface of the selected decorative panel should be smooth, without burrs, hook marks and planer marks, and there should be no glue penetration (such as local blackening and yellowing). The surface should be free of cracks and cracks as much as possible, and the natural warping of the whole board should be as small as possible.
2. Check the thickness of the surface
The thicker the thickness of the decorative panel, the better the durability. After the paint is applied, the stronger the solid wood feel, the clearer the texture, and the brighter the color; the method of identifying the thickness of the board is to observe whether there is sand penetration on the edge of the board, whether there is glue penetration on the surface of the board, and whether the water coating test shows bluish and bottom penetration. If the above problems exist, the surface is usually thinner.
3. Check the appearance and decorativeness of the board
The board surface has clear texture, regular arrangement, beautiful appearance, and coordinated color. If the color is not coordinated, there is irregular color difference, or even discoloration and blackening, it should be downgraded to first grade or qualified according to its severity. Natural defects such as black spots and knots are usually visually inspected by people with normal vision at a distance of about 1~1.5m under normal light source.
4. Check the bonding strength
Use the knife prying method to test the bonding strength, and pry along the adhesive layer with a sharp flat blade. If the adhesive layer is damaged and the wood is not damaged, it indicates that the bonding strength is poor.
